TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been an educator for 25 years and taught grades 6-12 in various science course like Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, Physics, and Earth Science.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have used direct instruction but I prefer activities and lessons that are student centered. Recently, I have favored Inquiry Based Learning and plan to incorporate more of those as I progress.

Graduated with honor's from high school, attended University of Georgia where i graduated Cum Laude. Taught in the classroom 2 years. Worked for 5 years at the Science and Technology Museum in Atlanta, Homeschooled children 7 years, Teaching high school past 10 years, gifted certification, ESOL designation, and just completed my Master's Degree in Education.
