TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 11 years of experience teaching all grades from 6-12. I currently teach biology to sophomores, and college biology and sustainability to seniors.

MY TEACHING STYLE

All SMART notebook lessons are user friendly, have many graphics and easy to understand explanations for students, and fun videos and activities to deepen understanding. I love using inquiry labs before teaching the lesson so students can discover scientific concepts on their own.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Selected as Breyer Law Teacher of the Month ---- Cesar Chavez Teacher of the Year- 2018

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northern Arizona University. Highly qualified in biology, physical science, middle school science, and ELL endorsed.
