I have spent the past 11 years teaching Life Science to 7th graders. I have experience teaching students at all levels (Special education, ESL, general ed, Advanced Academics, and Gifted and Talented).
I believe in making things as interactive as possible. Students need to touch and see science. They need to have the opportunity to manipulate things. If students are not engaged 100% in the lesson, they are not learning. I am a big fan of the interactive notebook and many of my activities are generated as INB assignments.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. Many of the characters in my lessons came about through random doodling with my girls.
