TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently returning to the Social Studies world after 3 years of teaching Science. Science is my true calling, and hopefully I can return soon! I taught Earth Science and Physical Science and before that I taught 4 years of middle school Social Studies (world history, U.S. history, and Louisiana history) and 1 year of Fine Arts Survey.

MY TEACHING STYLE

The majority of the material in my class is taught through researching or reading nonfiction texts. Students use these passages to draw conclusions from the reading and then use that information to make connections to the content being taught.
