I have just graduated UCF on 12th of Dec. 2014 and have already procured a teaching job teaching 3rd grade. Before then however I spent hours upon hours in classrooms. I have been volunteering in Elementary schools since I moved out of one myself and started 6th grade. I've seen all different types of students and teaching styles. I've seen some very effective teachers that I loved seeing great ideas from and poor teachers that I wished I could have taken over for! I have now been collecting resources and ideas for my future classroom and decided it was time to share some of the things I've come up with as well.
When I teach I like to walk around and be involved with my students. I am a very hands on teacher, with a more personal and left wing teaching style. I feel students need proper support but can surprise you and create so much more if you give the time and effort to give them the opportunities.
Dean's list 6 times throughout college. Delta Epsilon Iota Academic honor society
I have recently obtained my bachelors in Elementary Ed with reading and ESOL endorsements. I have also completed an internship with the orange county regional history center in the education department and worked at Disney in the children's activities department. Currently I am working as a third grade teacher at a title 1 elementary school
Just another teacher trying to make it work!
