MY TEACHING STYLE

High expectations in meeting learning standards, meaningful contributions to the learning community and high measures of citizenship are foundational principles in my teaching practice. I realize that relationships with students and families is key, but I also understand the incredible value of highly structured, explicit and systematic instruction for struggling learners. I believe that each child has unique talents that only they can do. My role as an educator is to create a culture of learning that fosters this discovery of themselves as learners.
