I have been teaching for 9 years and I have taught middle school as well as high school. I have taught at-risk students in rehabilitation programs and inner-city schools. I'm currently teaching History and English at a San Diego High School.
I teach with an emphasis on project-based learning as I believe that students can learn more critical thinking skills and knowledge by application rather than memorization. My lessons are aligned with the Common Core and adaptable for English Learners and in many cases already differentiated.
