I have taught in the Texas public school system for 14 years. I have also taught education classes at a local college for 5 years. I have presented workshops at NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), CAST (Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching, STAT (Science Teachers Association of Texas), TARS (Texas Association of Rural Schools) as well as many smaller conventions and local schools.
My teaching style is very hands on and active. I think my students should have fun while learning. I also think teachers should enjoy teaching. Nothing is more thrilling for me than waking up in the morning and being excited about a lesson that I'm going to teach that day.
I was named "Teacher of the Year" for Sam Houston Elementary campus. I was also named "Regional Science Teacher of the Year".

I know that good teachers invest their own time and money in their students and classrooms. For that.... I THANK YOU!
