RINGO is reading BINGO, where students read various genres in order to get BINGO on their game board. You can easily re-create your own game board to suit the genres of your grade level, and I have done this with my students in grades 1 through 6.

This is a homework planner used in my third grade classroom that coincides with hardcopy planners students have. Every Monday, we fill out our planners so students can organize their time wisely, taking into account sports' games, playdates, etc.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught mostly in the primary grades over the last ten years (K-3) in public schools, although I did teach a year of language arts and social studies for 5th-8th grades at a private school. I taught at a Title I school for three years, honing my SDAIE/ELD techniques. I am now on a shared contract with a fabulous teaching partner, giving us the best of both worlds, feuling our passion for teaching while still getting to be mommies. I am blessed!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in my students from the moment they walk into the door. I try to be firm but fair. I want my students to be responsible, respectful, ready, and kind, and I will in turn remember that they are still kids, learning and growing each day.
