¡Saludos! I'm Señora Falk. I have been teaching high school Spanish since 2006. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Marquette University in Spanish and Education; I also have a Master's Degree in Education from Concordia University Wisconsin and a Master's Degree in Spanish Language and Culture from the University of Salamanca. During my time at Marquette, I spent part of my Junior year abroad at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. I have also spent time during the summer volunteering in the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Guatemala, and Nicaragua and am proud to be able to share my experiences both in Spain and Latin America with my students. I have also had the opportunity to take three high school trips to Spain and look forward to more trips in the future. I currently teach Spanish II, Spanish IV and AP Spanish and am the Curriculum Content Specialist for World Languages in my school district.
"The best way to learn a language inside and outside the classroom is not by treating it as an object of study but by experiencing it as a medium of communication." -Long, 1991 "The point is not to teach grammar as static knowledge but to have students use it in the dynamic process of communication."
