TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 5 years teaching experience at the high school level. I have taught levels 1-4, both honors and college preparatory. I was also a teacher assistant in college for Spanish classes 101-202. I have tutored Spanish for the past 5 years in addition to teaching.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy providing a strong foundation while encouraging students to take risks while speaking. The purpose of Spanish is to speak it, no? So, I always try to have students using the language in realistic ways. At the upper level, I enjoy creating lessons where students aren't solely focusing on grammar, but the relevant themes in Hispanic society.
