TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for ten years in second, third, and fourth grade. I have taught both on grade level and gifted classes in high-achieving and title one settings. I love reaching kids where they are with relevant lessons. Most of all I love for students to understand the "why" of what we are doing.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach largely through the workshop model, however, I believe it is necessary to adapt instruction to student needs. I love to teach in small groups and believe that there is a place for stations and choice in teaching as well.
