TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught in the classroom for 9 years before moving into a RtI role. I now provide accelerated instruction for small groups of students in reading, writing, and math. Professionally, I have led professional development sessions at both the campus and district levels. I collaborated with a cohort of student teachers from the University of Texas and provided on site training on writing craft. I love the ever changing field of education.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I prefer to adapt my teaching style to the learning styles of my students. I utilize a variety of resources and strategies to meet their needs.
