TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught all elementary school grade levels between being a classroom teacher, a media specialist / librarian, as well as tutoring, summer school, and even teaching gymnastics.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I adhere very closely to the Responsive Classroom model and believe strongly in the power of choice. In my classroom, students sit for short periods of time and then dive into independent or small group activities while I jump from group to group for more 1 on 1 instructional time.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I was nominated in my first year to be the recipient of The Golden Apple Award
