I have been an ESL teacher in a large urban school district in New York for two years. Before teaching in city schools in New York, I was an EFL teacher in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In my ESL classes, I create an atmosphere that is culturally and linguistically sensitive. I aim to create a classroom culture that is inviting, rewarding, challenging, and respectful. My classes are focused heavily on social interaction and vocabulary instruction with a smaller focus on grammar.
