HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I was recently awarded the Agape Award in our school for having the heart of a teacher who reaches out in love to help their students achieve no matter what. I am currently serving as department chair of the sixth grade ELA Department in our school. I have received several awards from my district for exceeding growth in our state.

BA in Elementary Education from Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, NC. Associates Degree in Business Administration.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am the proud mother of two daughters. Danielle (my oldest is a sixth year Spanish teacher in a local high school. Cassie (my youngest is a licensed practical nurse. I have one handsome new grandson. I have been married to my husband, Todd, for nearly 29 years. We enjoy church, camping and spending time with our family.
