TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I was an elementary school teacher for 10 years and during that time had my own Montessori preschool. After that, I went back to school for a nursing degree. My nursing experience includes hospital care of cancer patients, nursing home care, home health and hospice care, infection control, and nursing education. I teach nursing assistant classes at the present time.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style includes both didactic and hands on. I also use games and visuals to enhance the theory part. I also use a lot of simulation.

Honorably discharged from the Army Nurse Corp. Most recently I have received 2 awards from the Community College for the work I did in putting together curriculum's for 2 different areas of home health aide nursing
