TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 4th grade and 6th grade in Arizona. My family and I moved to Tennessee in 2013. I have taught 2nd grade here and I am presently teaching 4th grade math.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is kid-friendly and full of encouragement and high expectations. Children need to know it is okay to struggle in a subject; everyone does! I share many stories of my fear of math when I was a kid and they can relate. My students see me in a new light and they are more willing to ask for help; and that makes it easier for both of us!
