I have served in Los Angeles area meeting the needs of an eclectic mix of students from various background and skill levels. Having taught English Language Learners, students from low socioeconomic statuses to now working in the Moderate to Severe Autism Alternate Classroom, I have found that community breaks barriers and makes learning possible. This is year 3 and I am excited towards working on many more!
My teaching style is cooperative learning, small group and Project Based Learning. Most instruction is taught in explicit instruction, with modeling, social stories, and providing context to the real world to add both value and to aid in retention.
