I have been a teacher for over 27 years and in administration for over 5 years. I have and do own my own tutoring center. I have taught students starting from 3 years old and above. I create lessons to engage students by having them discuss, be creative, have a growth mindset, love to learn, explore, and be able to apply what they have learned into their daily life. Learning is a lifestyle and not just through a book. I have a record of helping students exceed expectations and being able to utilize the skills taught throughout their life. I have taught SAT and ACT prep courses, GED, and mentored teachers.
I utilize hands-on, discussion, collaboration, visuals, music, and any strategy that may be necessary to help the student be interested in learning.
