I was an educator in the Pittsburgh Public Schools for twenty-six years. In that time, I taught Reading, English, Health and Social Studies for fourth and fifth grades. I also taught Kindergarten for three years.
I believed in writing original plays .for the students. These allowed the children to explore their creativity. Once you've read my background, you'll see that my teaching suggestions are worthwhile I tried to make learning as much fun as possible.Interaction between the students was a good way to do it.

As a retiree, my husband and I have hosted and produced a show on Public Access television in Pittsburgh entitled More Than Just Learning. The show focuses on the importance of education in everyone's life. We have received four awards for this program: The Jefferson Award Outstanding Citizens Award (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette) Community Service Award (PA Retired Teachers Organzation) Proclamation from Mayor Murphy of Pittsburgh in recognition of our contributions to education.
