I am a graduate of Stevenson University receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, and a current graduate student at Notre Dame of Maryland University seeking my Master's Degree in Leadership in Teaching and Cultural Proficiency. I'm entering my fifth year teaching third grade, and love taking the time to develop and create relevant, meaningful, and engaging activities for my awesome students -- perhaps they will be valuable to you!
I do my best to create and develop a classroom rapport with my students that is both loving and firm. I enjoy developing visually appealing classroom decor and resources which attract my students' interest and attention. I value culturally responsive teaching and dwell on the positive to truly grasp each and every one of my students. I ensure that above all else, that each of my students has full confidence that I believe in them, they are empowered, and that they will succeed -- and we can have fun doing that!

I was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland -- now working on the opposite side of the Chesapeake Bay. The Eastern Shore lifestyle has made a major impact on my life, which definitely plays out in my classroom. I do my best to create an environment where students feel cozy and right at home, just like the shore has done for me.
