I feel it is important to build classroom community and provide your students with a place in which they feel safe and loved. This will help them thrive, not only in the classroom but in life as well. I enjoy doing centers in my classroom. This provides students with an opportunity to work together and allows me to have some one-on-one time with various students throughout the day.
