I spent 6 years volunteering almost daily my child's school. I was not just in her classrooms. I worked with all the K-4 teachers. Preparing materials, grading, helping with students that needed one and one attention and anything else that would make a teacher's job easier. I started homeschooling when my children hit 6th, 2nd with a newborn in our family. At this point, I have taught every grade from Pr-K to 10th grade.
I'm very eclectic in my approach to teaching. For the most part, I see myself as a facilitator more than a teacher. My own children learn from reading real books, not textbooks. Discussions, and hands on activities. When I teach in our homeschool co-op my classes are run with discussion and hands on activities, with an emphasis on creativity and problem-solving.

My college studies focused on both Early Childhood Education and English Studies.
I wrote my first book in 2016 and published it in 2017. I have put together some companion materials to help both classroom teachers and homeschool teachers alike utilize my books to their fullest.
