TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Twenty-six years as an elementary educator in Washington State. Authored Simplification of Science book and adhering to Next Generation Science standards within it, used the methods for six months,resulting in seventy-six percent of my class passing the rigorous Washington State science test when the state average was only thirty-six percent percent. Mission Statement "Provide easily implemented, standards based science inquiry methods needing minimal preparation time, at the lowest cost possible, and target essential science knowledge to meet Next Generation Science standards."

MY TEACHING STYLE

Hands on, experiential whenever possible. Engaged students with techniques that had them totally involved in the learning process, less listening, more doing. Use materials found in classroom or home, little or no cost for me is my preference and SHORT prep time!
