TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my 7th year of teaching! I am currently teaching 2nd grade (my favorite grade) in Indiana. I've spent 6 of my 7 years in primary, where I've taught a 1/2 split and 2nd grade. I spent one year teaching 6th grade. I graduated from Asbury University in Kentucky with a degree in Elementary Education.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to keep my classroom interactive and upbeat. My students are challenged to think critically and justify their thinking. I also strive to make my classroom a second "home" for my students by creating an atmosphere of respect, love, and kindness. Work Hard. Be Kind.
