TEACHING EXPERIENCE

13 years of Science teaching experience: Courses have included HS Chemistry, General Science, Forensic Science and Environmental Science. My focus is on creating NGSS and NJSLS lessons.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that students learn by doing and I incorporate hands on activities whenever possible. Having worked in inclusion classrooms for most of my career, I always have diversified instruction in mind while planning my lessons. Science is exciting and my goal is to engage the students, share my love for the subject, as well as to teach core concepts that stick. My main method for doing this is to connect those concepts to daily life and anchoring phenomenons.
