I have been a school-based speech/language pathologist for the past 36 years enjoying every grade level from Infant/Toddler to High School. Time to give back to the profession! I have created so many games and activities throughout the years that I want to share them with others. Presently, I am busy revising them for this wonderful website.
Learning is best when it is hands-on and engaging. It's all about making the "journey to success" fun. It begins with a teacher who believes in you, who encourages you and leads you to the next plateau, helps you believe in yourself and creates moments that last a lifetime so that you may, in time, teach others without realizing that you are "teaching" because you have become what you have learned. Children are the future.
Nominated for Teacher of the Year, presented at CSHA, honored at a luncheon for my involvement with autistic students in the regular ed classroom. Rewarded with many smiles each day...priceless!
Undergrad: University of La Verne/ Grad School: California State University, Fullerton
In addition, I am an avid runner, hiker, dancer and photographer who enjoys cooking and gardening in my spare time. I'm also a Dance Fitness instructor at our local gym.
