A knowledgeable, passionate, and creative clinician. With over 15 years in clinical management along with professional expertise in autism, social communication, applied behavior analysis, and assistive technology she is passionate about the profession. Landria’s personal philosophy of making people with disabilities better has taken her across the country clinical staff mentoring, advising and teaching students, professionals, and parents across the country. As the former Executive Director of a therapy company, she has taken those years of experience and partnered with a group to develop center and home based comprehensive networks to better support families along with staffing charter and public schools with special education staffing who are ready and knowledgeable. In addition, she has developed the SOAR Online Autism Therapy Library as a tool for therapists, schools, and families to track the learning programs of children in intensive ABA Programs. The program is language based and integrates Applied Behavior Analysis with general education, core curriculum, language, social, and academic development. Landria believes that people should be better for having known the therapist. This means that as children grow into young adults there should be solid proof of the hours and dollars spent in their therapy. This means planning for careers, relationships, and jobs for people with disabilities beyond grocery store and laundry services. Landria is dynamic, informative, energetic, and a captivating speaker. She is a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist and is a proud alum of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Northwestern University. She is further trained in PROMPT, ADOS trained, Applied Behavior Analysis, PECS, and Floortime. She is the daughter of an engineer and married and engineer. Technology is in her blood. As the granddaughter of a woman whose communication abilities were cut short by a massive stroke, she understands firsthand the impact of impairment on the family. Landria is a native of Chicago with roots in Connecticut and has a high love for all things east coast. She is married to a Brooklyn, NY native. She currently resides in Michigan with her husband, son Adam, and dog Annie.
