I have almost 15 years of experience working as a bilingual SLP in several schools within a public school district in Wisconsin. I also work as a private consultant providing bilingual diagnostic services for neighboring school districts. I use my background in linguistics and love for language, art, design, and research when I create my interventions and resources.
We're all in this together.
The day one of my non-verbal, Spanish-dominant students independently made a humorous comment (that made me laugh out loud) after weeks of prompting to use the AAC app on his iPad to communicate.
