I have over 15 years of experience working as a bilingual SLP in several schools within a public school district in Wisconsin. I also work as a private consultant providing bilingual diagnostic services for neighboring school districts. I use my background in linguistics and love for language, art, design, and research when I create my interventions and resources.
We're all in this together.
The day one of my non-verbal, Spanish-dominant students independently made a humorous comment (that made me laugh out loud) on his AAC device after weeks of working with him and prompting him to use the AAC app on his iPad to communicate.
