TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been working in the field of speech and language pathology for 16 years. During my CFY year, I worked for a non-profit agency providing services for both children and adults. I have spent the past 15 years working in a school district providing services for children with a variety of abilities ranging from preschool age to seniors.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My therapy style ranges from silly to serious depending on the student's age, circumstance, and personality. I would describe some of my therapy sessions as theatrical performances (whatever it takes to get the child engaged!). I've really developed some nice acting skills :-).

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Bachelor of Science - Communication Sciences and Disorders: Magna Cum Laude, 1999. & Master of Arts - Communication Sciences and Disorders: Cum Laude, 2001.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
