TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After graduating from The University of Southern Indiana I served as a title aide for a year and a half. During that time I completed Reading Recovery training. In 2008 I relocated to Rushville, Indiana and worked as a certified teacher in a Title One position. In 2009 I took a first grade teaching position. I have enjoyed using my Reading Recovering training in my classroom. I also received extensive math intervention training.

MY TEACHING STYLE

In my classroom I get excited. I love to read with expression, voices, and loudly! I have a passion for technology in the classroom. I love the excitement in discovering new things. I love being a novice and exploring new things with my students.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

When I was in 2nd grade I had an amazing teacher who had to make a really tough call. She had to call my parents and tell them that I couldn't read. With the help of my parents and amazing teachers I was able to catch up to my classmates. I am inspired daily by the teachers who helped me. I see myself in each of my students.
