MY TEACHING STYLE

The classroom is a fun and creative space in which students should learn about the disciplines we teach and also life skills that they can incorporate into their future education and beyond. I utilize a collaborative classroom in which I help guide students on the path to knowledge and give them opportunities to analyze, evaluate, and eventually draw conclusions about various topics. I use a blend of direct instruction, inquiry, and several other techniques to continue to challenge students and their ways of thinking. I am the teacher who makes an effort to draw connections between the past and the present and give my English students an opportunity to express themselves in a real and meaningful way about topics that are important to them.
