TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught in the middle and high school visual arts field for close to a decade. While I have experience teaching almost every type of visual arts class offered (Advertising Art, Animation, Arts & Communications Career Pathway, Ceramics, Computer Art, Drawing & Painting, General Art, Graphic Communications, Photography, & Yearbook) my specialty is in Computer Art.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Usually I start with some notes and vocabulary followed by smaller formative assignments/assessments and I lean heavily towards project/product-based learning as a summative assessment. My introductions are very visual and all projects are accompanied with a demonstration.
