8 years teaching secondary science ~Classes taught: ~~~Biology II ~~~Chemistry ~~~Earth/Space Science ~~~Genetics ~~~Introduction to Biology ~~~Microbiology ~~~Physical Science
I have a mostly traditional teaching style, but I'm also not afraid to try new things with my students. My lesson plans usually include an introduction to the information through a reading passage or a video, small snippets of lecture interrupted by worksheets or videos to reinforce the information, an activity to help my students relate the information to their everyday lives, a segment of review information, and concluding with a formal assessment. I try to give my students every opportunity to learn through their individual learning styles.

I'm joining the TPT community because my husband and I are attempting to start a family either through in vitro or adoption. We are hoping that we can be blessed enough to do both. Both options are extremely expensive for meager teacher pay. Since we are both teachers, we are looking for creative ways to fund our future family hopes.
