- I am a certified Special Education Mild/Moderate and General Elementary Education Teacher. - I currently work for Francis Howell School District in an Elementary Autism classroom. - I worked for Special School District of St. Louis for 5 years as a paraprofessional. - I worked for the St. Louis Arc for 5 years as a Direct Support Professional at a stay away weekend Camp called R&R Camp. - For 2 years I worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for a Kindergarten and 1st grade classroom -I help my head teachers with everything from planning lessons, executing lessons, helping with centers, helping with students with special needs, helping students who are having trouble, catching up students that are absent and subbing throughout the school where needed pre-k through 8th grade. - For 2 school years, I worked as a private tutor for kids with special needs -I tutor kids throughout my school with special needs. I have tutored in reading and math mostly and I help my kids with any homework or projects they might have. -I student taught in a k-3 resource room -I also student taught in a general education 5th grade classroom
