I have been teaching high school math for six years in an urban classroom.
Beginning with the mindset that all students can learn math, even those who struggle with it, I have proceeded to tackle the tough question: How do I best organize my classroom and prepare lessons to maximize learning? The most natural teaching style for me is one characterized by efficiency and structure. I am always looking for ways to better explain concepts to my students.
