TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Master Teacher with 30 years experience in the classroom using differentiation, Common Core standards and student engagement. Wrote district math plans for 4th grade and has an on-line business which provides lesson plans for TK-5th grades.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching engages students and encourages them to think about the standard or skill taught. Learning and remembering are almost guaranteed if students are engaged with the lesson. Learning to think is a natural by-product of cross-curriculum activities and increases confidence and capabilities.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Awarded Teacher of the Year by my school three times. Awarded Teacher of the year by school district. Awarded Teacher of the Year by School Board.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

BA Music: Humboldt State University Multiple-Subject Credential: California State University San Bernardino GATE Credential: Riverside County Office of Education MA Educational Technology: Azusa Pacific University
