Hello! My name is Sara and I am a Grade 3 teacher that teaches in the great state of Illinois! I've just started my 14th year as a professional educator and can't think of a more wonderful profession! I spent 9 years of my experience in education as a Special Education teacher, and am currently thrilled to be a general education Grade 3 teacher!
I love to collaborate together and share ideas in order to maximize the learning (and love of learning) for my students! The opportunity to support children in their learning, collaborate with professional colleagues, and improve my delivery of instruction through researched best practices are always my goals!
Most recently, I was honored to be a part of the NEA's Master Teacher Project! As a member of this project, I was honored to work with a great team of other Grade 3 teachers and an instructional coach that allowed me to share my daily ELA lesson plans (for no charge!) with the world! If you haven't heard of the NEA Master Teacher Project, you can check it out here: cc.betterlesson.com
I completed my undergraduate work at Monmouth College, earned my Master's Degree at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and have additional graduate work completed with Aurora University.
Can't wait to share and learn from other educators on TpT!
