I have taught Civics for 3 years with more success each year from the students. Each year I add new teacher materials of my own that are student friendly, and are praised by other teachers, to my lessons. Even though I still consider myself a new or young teacher, I do enjoy getting advice and praise from veteran teachers who are always looking for the next best thing in education.
Cooperative and Independent, depending on how the class is manageable. I am a trendy teacher so I welcome new ideas and methods. If they work, cool! Otherwise, I teach my students based on what I believe is best for them and their learning futures.

I am a single mom to an amazing little girl who surprises me daily. She is the reason I became a teacher and the reason I have been able to achieve everything I have set my mind to. It's always just been she and I, so making her proud is always my number one goal. We live in a small town called Ocala in Florida. She is in elementary school, while I teach middle school Social Sciences. Together we do as much traveling as possible and enjoy as much outdoor activity as we can get. Sometimes things do get tough, but together we always make the best of things. :)
