TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught middle school social studies since 2014. I have developed and modified lessons, projects, and activites in each U.S. History topic era from causes of the American Revolution to the modern era. I teach civics, geography, economics, and current events embedded throughout each school year. In addition, I have a background in language arts, with a BA in English and prior teaching experience in ELA.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use my creative skills in my lessons as often as I can, but I am effective at being clear and organized with instructions. I create opportunities for student choice and collaboration, but also find time to focus on individual skill sets.
