TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently in my 4th year of teaching!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in student-centered learning that utilizes diverse interactive and group-based activities. I never want students to just memorize answers – but to engage in the processes of historical thinking and critical analysis in order to arrive at more comprehensive answers to more complex historical questions.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Graduated from my education program with High Honors.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

BA in History-Political Science and Secondary Education, UM (2015)

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love developing curriculum work, working with students to help them develop their skills and make connections, and continuing to grow as an educator. When not teaching, I'm a pretty big fan of reading, listening to music, trying new restaurants, travelling, and spending time with my loved ones and pooches!
