TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a 5th year teacher, and spent my first three years jumping around a lot: from 10th grade to 3rd grade to 6th grade! Now I am happily teaching middle school Social Studies in Brooklyn, New York. I have been rated "Highly Effective" by the NYC DOE each year of teaching. I have an undergraduate degree in History from Northwestern University and a Master's degree in teaching with a focus in secondary Social Studies education. In addition to teaching Social Studies, I also coach our debate team, support our data analysis, and run my school's new teacher orientation program.
