Former Baltimore City Public Schools middle school and high school social studies teacher. M.A. in politics and "all but dissertation" with PhD in public policy. Experiencing teaching from 7th grade all the way through college level.
High engagement, student centric, driven by activities and teaching students how to make arguments and draw conclusions. In my experience, first year and veteran teachers who have no resources really struggle to fit in the time to lesson plan. I had no textbooks during the time I taught, so I provide lesson plans with reading materials included the majority of the time so you can "grab and go".

PhD candidate in public policy, M.A. in political science, Bachelor's degree in economics/political science
I love creating activities that help students answer rigorous critical thinking questions. Using base social studies material to inspire them to create things of their own is my teaching philosophy.
