Designer Paul Bacio and editorial reviewer Elaine Bacio have three kids who absolutely love Lego. Paul, a former youth pastor and summer camp instructor, is always inspiring them to branch out into imaginative new sets and ideas. Elaine is a certified health coach and a homeschooling mom. The couple lives with their children in San Mateo, California. Project editor Ann Kositchotitana and her husband, Ronald Chen, are the parents of two Lego-loving girls. Ann works with social causes dedicated to special-needs children. She had also taught pre-school and kindergarten classes in Bangkok, Thailand. Ronald collects limited-edition Lego sets. Their daughter, Sofia Chen, served as the cover illustrator for all the Brick Building Activity Book series.
We create imaginative projects that will help your entire family bond as your child has fun and absorbs a number of important developmental concepts. Incorporate learning into playtime as shown in our guide—with fantastic results! Our curated activities will teach your children: • problem solving, • fine motor skills, • colors, • shapes, • counting, • written numbers, • simple positioning concepts, • simple directions, and • grouping objects. In addition to all these important skills, kids will be able to let their imaginations run wild. Encourage your children to think outside the box to make something truly spectacular!
