TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 5th year of teaching, and I have been teaching at the same elementary school since the beginning of my career. I am currently teaching 4th grade for the 2nd year; however, I previously taught 5th graders for 3 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

According to my administrators, I teach in a way that allows me to build relationships with all students, while holding them accountable to learning and behavior. I have a fun, yet disciplined approach to teaching. I enjoy allowing my students to actively participate. I enjoy allow my students to learn through inquiry. I enjoy challenging my students.

I received my bachelor's in Elementary Education from Loyola University Chicago in 2007. I recently received my Master's degree in Special Education-mild interventions with a certificate in autism, in December 2011.
