MY TEACHING STYLE

We believe in explicit and direct instruction when introducing a new skill or concept. Our resources will provide learning objectives and intentions with success criteria to demonstrate understanding. Some resources will not have intentions, in order to enable the tasks to support a variety of purposes. We also believe that learners need time to explore concepts in order to inquire and think critically. Research supports sorting activities to activate higher-order thinking, so we create resources that cater for this.
