TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for five years at a wonderful public school in New York City. I teach a mixture of beginning Spanish speakers and heritage speakers who require support with Spanish literacy.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try to incorporate reading, writing, listening, and speaking into my lessons. I use these modalities as outlets for learning grammar and culture. I love inquiry-based lessons that get students to think deeply about patterns in Spanish, and I am starting to experiment with the SMART board!
