I am a retired Spanish and English elementary and secondary teacher. I have traveled extensively to Spanish-speaking countries such as Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras Mexico and Spain, and currently substitute teach part-time and write stories in my spare time.
Varied: lecture, group activities, hands on, speaking, reading and listening to the target language (Spanish classes), as well as using technology in the classroom (Power Point, YouTube, Quia, and a variety of related apps.)

I have traveled throughout the US in all states, but Oregon; lived in Massachusetts, Florida, Texas, New York, Illinois, MIssouri and Kansas, as well as in England, where I attended the British schools in the 1950's. I am the mother of three children and six children and my husband and I are very active in our church. I also enjoy writing, and recently published a Christian, historical fictional novel called Angel with a Mission, based on my great-grandmother's life in Germany during WWI.
