TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I love teaching middle school! I currently teach 8th grade U.S. history from the founding of the colonies to reconstruction.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love cooperative learning opportunities, projects, skill building, and student individual investigation. I often move away from the textbook and add perspectives that the students don't always get to hear. My goal is to make history applicable today, so I often include technology and comparisons to current events.
